Haven't been here for a WHILE

ok, like a year.. But i haven't had the wagon. Dunno if I told the story before, but the 2nd to last rallycross of the year, after i landed the 'jump' i blew a hole in the block and ignited fluid.. caught fire, but i still managed to cross the finish line. We she went to the scrap after that.
I have been rallycrossing and entered the Mt. Hood Rally this year in my MightyMax rally truck! G'times. But now i have a new project that i'll be working on soon enough. And i think it involves a 4wd wagovan... just gonna ask a few questions as it's not set on that vehicle yet.
did the 4wd come FI or were the all carb'd? i'm hoping FI cuz a swap would possibly be in the near future, or i'd likely end up just doing a rebuild as I would need a guaranteed relaiblle ride. Breaking down in the middle of nowhere is not an option.
Anyone know anyone in Oregon or Washington who might be thinking about selling one within a few months?
how are the 4wd trannies? can they take a lil bit of abuse? what would you consider there breaking point? Power/abuse wise... are there any possible drive-train swaps or upgrades to look into? how easy are the 4wd parts to come across 'newish'/refurb..? Thanks a ton guys! if i did end up with a wagovan, i think you'd all appreciate the plan

I have seen it written that 250hp is the line where the RT4wd stuff gets spotty. No personal experience there, but I'm inclined to think that driving style is a big factor. (hard launches, shock loads etc.) In other words, haulin'ass through the sticks rallyXing is probably easier on drivetrain components than drag racing.
All of our wagons are D15B4 dual carbs, none (no matter the year) were FI.
True, but he's in Oregon :P
