ITR suspension on Wagon?

Has anyone got ITR OEM suspension on there wagon?

I know it raises the HB/CRX slightly, but should drop a wagon nice??

    Will the OEM Acura Integra Type R complete suspension fit an 88 Civic Wagon 2wd? If so, would the Wagon go any lower?

    OEM ITR suspension will still sit high. An ITR is only slightly lower than normal Integra.

    Will probably raise a Civic Wagon if anything

    I dont think it will raise it, but it wont make it much lower, it would probably sit around the same height.

    i know it makes a Civic HB/CRX sit higher. FYI ITR suspension is the same as fitment as EG ;)

    DC/EG front shocks are longer than EF so that will raise a Shuttle/Hatch/Sedan. The rear I cant remember but likely do the same. An ITR is only very slightly lower than non R Integra.

    ah ok sorry I missed that. yeh fronts are all the same length (crx-hb-shuttle) just the springs differ

    I would say that the height would likely be very similar to stock, maybe slightly lower or higher. BUT the ITR shock valving and spring rate would definitely give you a better handling wagon whilst still retaining a useful ride height

    yep certianly would. i had thoughts of doing that myself as ITR suspension is readily available here.

    Lucky! I wish I lived overseas again. But all I was going for was a suspension that was somewhat lower, newer, and firmer than the stock Wagon suspension I currently have now.

    Just some aftermarket shocks, Skunk2, Tokiko etc along with some Aftermarket springs will probably give you what you are after. You can of course get various brands of springs that will give you varying levels of height, so dont have to be slammed

    The front steering knuckles are roughly 1" taller than those on an EF. The trailing arm is pretty much the same as that of an EF/CRX, only the spindle is longer for the 5 lug hub. an EF with rear discs on it already can accept the ITR's rear 5 lug hub/bearing if you use a low profile axle nut.

    The front knuckle can swap, but If the EF EX bearing has the same bigger center as say the DC2 or 92-00 Civic EX bearing, the ITR hub can be pressed into that bearing, making it easier.

    As for shocks, the ITR uses an eyehook rear shock to bolt, so the 88 CRX LCAs can work, fork type rear shocks don't fit stock.
