Rust!?!?

How can honda honestly build a car that is so easily rusted. I'm doing bodywork on my 88Rt and I honestly think I could find the holy Grail before I could find a non rusty panel anywhere near a Honda around here. Anyone got any solutions for making a panel when so much is gone you don't know the shape any more? I'm just trying to get this done and painted before winter, at this rate I don't think it's happening.

To the OP: seriously, if it's that badly decomposed, a shell swap would be much easier and last longer once done. If I were in your shoes, I'd import a car from somewhere south- auto, 2wd, whatever- and put the RT goodies on it.
