Looking to buy a wagon, found one on craigslist

Hi there all!
I found a wagon on craigslist, it's blue, 4wd, stickshift, 166k. I am thinking of buying it. I think this person wants 1200. Is that a fair price? What should I look for when I'm testing out the car? Any help would be appreciated!

    Things I forgot to mention: he says it's a 87, 4 door, the back seats "lye" down, and supposedly it runs good. I'm located in california, so hopefully no rust. Does anyone know if/where these cars get rust? floor panels? under the doors? I haven't seen the car in person or seen any pics yet. I'm also new to civics. But I'm looking for a wagon so even if i don't buy this one it will be good to know what to look for.

    Also I can't see the marketplace. If someone could help me with that I would be stoked. I read the rules and everything and I should be good... but still don't have the permissions.

    Check for rust in the rear guards, that seems to be a common spot.

    You wont see the market place unless you made this thread first, then 5 posts in the general forum area.

    I cant comment on price as I live on the other side of the world ;)

    Mechanically, just the usual and that there is no vibrations coming from the driveline

    I ended up buying it. Seems to run great. drove it the 50 or so miles back home to SF from pittsburgh and it seems fine. seems to idle a little rough though, I'm hoping that will be taken care of with a tune up.
