hey guys, joined a little bit ago after my brother's car got hit and i've lurked around a bit, i guess i might as well introduce myself.

my name is Jon, i'm from either central PA or western PA, depending on if i'm at school or not. I'm looking at picking my brother's 89 RT4WD from him since he is thinking about getting something newer (on a side note, anyone think $500 for it would be a good deal? its got minor rear end damage)

if/when i do i pick it up from him, its only a matter of time :lol: i was looking at some suspension work to make it good handling car with maybe some basic engine mods, as i need something that'll drive reliably, since i dont need 2 non factory boosted cars, and i've found way too much info to read at once on here (its great!)

    depends on the damage and how it runs other than that. I got mine for $300 but it cost me some change to get it fixed. Definitely not a bad deal though!

    the damage isnt bad at all from my point of view, my brother on the other hand, is nowhere close to being mechanically inclined, just wants to get rid of it

    but it drives pretty well, paint is faded all over it, probably could use an oil change, as well as every other fluid in it, but overall its in decent shape. now its just time to convince him to sell it to me

    haha ball's in my brother's court. i offered him the cash, he said he needs it til at least winter break and to find another car, but thats fine, gives me some time to research... but i already have some ideas... think i'm gunna give it a go at painting it
