Hi this is Heart Of Sugar ur neighborhood sexy boy lol, Im buying a JDM towhook soon and I already photo shopped what it will look like, But I want to know if any of you have a JDM tow hook on ur wagovan. Not the little flat black one welded on ur chassis already lol, So plz post some pics of ur TOW HOOKS!!!!

    What is the purpose of the tow hook? Just wondering if it has any functional value, or is it just for looks.

    I saw ur tow hitch on passwordjdm.com, but it sais the one u have is for newer Scions, and the universal tow hitches are ALOT fatter than urs.

    Easy bro. One bolt goes through the standard hook and the other goes behind it. The hook on one side and the holder on the other side. I think it's a 17mm for the bolts.

    Wouldnt really call it a "Tow Hitch" and wouldnt want to tow anything with it either. They are for racecars to get towed out of the gravel traps etc without damaging the bumpers

    I had a J's Racing one on my wagon as a joke, I run it on my Integra when im on the track

    Thats because you don't give us a reason to give you a hard time.

    This forum is nothing like the others. Most of us have been around the block a couple of times, and know what we want/need for the Civic wagon community. By all means express yourself! But know the place. And certainly know your place.

    Not many 20 year old Honda ninjas rolling around. And we'd like to keep our elders.

    It's all about personal preference.. If there was a thread about Stick-on Air Vents, I probably would not be interested nor would I contribute.

    That being said.. I like tow-hooks. But it should be functional, right?.. Otherwise, it's just a "Tow-Look" :D (shit, I'm clever!)

    But I still want a bullbar specifically for looks.. However, I would be nice to know my front end is safe from the San Diego Wildlife crossing the freeways. :wink:

    lots of things we do to our cars are just for "looks"... tow hooks, headliner mods, painting our wheels, arguably most spoilers/wings, rusted hoods, crazy low offset wheels, 90% of people with roof racks, stickers, changing stuff from USDM to JDM, all that shit is for looks- who cares?
