Finally pics of my new wagon.New to Wagon scene.

I finally took some pics of my new wagon.Its a 88 RT4WD.its 5 speed with SL gear.When I got it it was prety much stock.I lowered it and put some LS acura rims i had.Just got the rear foglights from Japan and looking for more JDM parts.Let me know if anyone has parts for sale.Looking for the rear speaker pods,frontlip,rear lip,front fog lights.Well here are some pics.will be taking more as soon as I get new rims,paint.

    nice wagon .. both of those rear fillers can be tapped out your lucky no rust .... might be able to pop out the bumper with a little bit of heat from a heat gun..

    Yeah thankx.my friend paints and does body and he said the same thing.Just a little rust on that rear right corner by the taillight.Everything works great.picked it up for $800 with a bad clutch.

    Want more power so dont know if I should go with jdm d15b vtec ,or if the b2d kit works for my 4wd setup.Talked to evolution and they told me there kit keeps the tranny where it sits so shoulnt have a problem.But kit is $1300.Also dont know how much power the tranny can handle.

    why not just keep the a6? they were underrated from the factory for sure!

    cleaning up the head, maybe throwing in a delt cam regrind (like 100-150 depending on profile you want) and a tune would make it a nice car for sure!

    plus swapping you wouldnt always be sure if it had the "right" block which had the bolt holes

    Without driving it like a total idiot (well I did do about 20-25 1st gear burn outs), I've been putting somewhere between 250-275 whp through my RT4WD transmission for the last 4 months. All the power goes to the back wheels (no front driveshafts). I did break the transfer case housing once, when I got wheelhop in 1st gear. I have since treated it with more respect and have not broken any more parts (touches wood!).

    Stay away from stupid burn outs and stuff, and it should handle plenty of power. More than any NA B series could put out, that's for sure.

    Thankx, Jaker,speedjunky01.don't want that much power.looking for around 200hp.something that gets me anywhere a bit faster than the stock d16.Ive been in the Honda scene for about 10 years now and for some reason I just always like the b series DOHC engine.Had a few friends that can smoke me with their singles but just never care for them.It makes some sense i need to keep my tranny, so just build the d16 i have.you figure the B2D is $1300,a good B Series motor with up grades $1000+ and up.Harness,exhaust so minimum im looking around $3000,with that i can get me a turbo and some work done to my motor.So many options not enough money. :cry: Has anyone done the H2D or B2D on the RT WAGON here?

    My brother has a 89 RT4WD Auto.red with gray interior.I went to see it but when I got there I saw it was automatic.My brother liked it and bought it.Then I found mine.At the time I didn't care if it was 4wd just wanted a wagon to swap.So I had posted it up that I would trade for a FWD as long as it had a clean body.But no one ever replied(CRAIGSLIST=BEFORE I KNEW ABOUT HCW).Had almost everyother civic so just wanted something Cooler :D

    I was contemplating doing the b2d swap with jdm b16 and gt35r, but now that I need a trans also thought about just puttin a6 back in with t3/t4 and just makin it pearl and finding a dx wagon to build into nastiness

    NEW PICS..Just need to fix the dent on my rear bumper so I can put the JDM rear foglights,and waiting for my Yakima rack,For the engine im still looking for a d15b or a d16z6 and start building it for turbo.I need to check out my local PICK N PULL.My friend told me they had three wagons in there.

    Nice wagon, welcome to the forums. Your wagon is what mine wished it could be haha. I have the same exact one, 88 gold rt too. Anyways did your wagon come with those roof rails? and if they have any 88-89 wagons in the yard I need a driver corner light! hook it up man! haha.

    Alright, it was worth a shot though, haha...found a guy in LA willing to sell his for 35 bucks. Seems a little pricey to me, but I've been looking everywhere for those. I'm digging the slips too! Goodluck on your build! I'll definitely check on your updates. 8)

    yEAH CAME WITH ROOF RAILS.SORRY THEY DID HAVE A WAGON AND I PICKED UP BOTH REAR CORNER LIGHTS.DRIVER SIDE FOR MY WAGON AND PASSENGER FOR MY BROTHERS.SORRY.BUT IF YOU LOOKING FOR THE FRONT THEY WHERE THERE AND PRETTY CLEAN.IT WAS BEIGE WITH SAME BROWN INTERIOR AS MINE.

    I actually took them off because they where really clean but at the end left them because i didnt need them.
