Long story short cause im tired. But drunk Asian dude in my neighborhood came around the corner and slammed into my wagon bounced off and used 88 wago's wagon as brakes. Mine is totaled and his is fine his bumper just got dislocated.

    Yea I was and still am pretty upset. I will admit I was tearing up a little bit! It would be could if it won before I have to part the car out

    isnt there a way to buy it back? i heard that, for example, they would give you $3000 for car you can "buy it" for a buck and keep the car, so they would give you $2999. basically, just to keep it from being called "totalled"

    a friend of mine did this. his car was considered totaled when someone reared him however it was drivable so he collected all the money except one dollar and was able to keep his car and use it.

    Yea apparently you can't in Florida! The insurance guy said that they would only give me 1300$ for it if I wanted to keep the car! Or just take the $3300 and be happy

    Condolences dude. Two grand is really, really steep to keep it. Insurance of the driver gonna pay out something for your friends bumper?

    How much is your deductible? This seems rediculous, even with a $1000 deductible, they are trying to sell the car back to you for $1000, thats where the 2K difference is from.

    At any rate, I'm on the beach and drive to Orlando daily for school. Just got my friend a wagovan for $650, I'll keep you posted...
