  Hey thanks alex I googled autozone but there is one small problem.....The evaporator core looks completely different than the one I took out from my wagon....the old core has two pipes that go into the hood and the one from autozone only has one...is that a common problem for our wagons or is that just a improvement

  There will ALWAYS be two "pipes", one in, one out. The pictures you see online MAY not be the actual part, but a representative sample.

  So for one final time if aI ebay a compressor core for a 88-91 civic it will fit on my wagon......because the one on ebay looked completely different.......but if its a universal match then hey I got one...yeah yeah

  I'm not absolutely positive on that, sorry. I THINK it would work, but don't know. Go on Majestic or another of the online parts lookups and compare part numbers betwwen hatch/sedan/wagon.

  I have a core from a 1991 Wagon. It's got a ton of dirt in it, but nothing that a good cleaning wouldn't fix. It does not leak. Let me know if you're interested in going used. It won't be very expensive.
